Maximally entangled Rydberg-atom pairs via Landau-Zener sweeps

چکیده
We analyze the formation of maximally entangled Rydberg atom pairs subjected to Landau-Zener sweeps atom-light detuning. Though populations reach a steady value at longer times, phases evolve continuously, leading periodic oscillations in entanglement entropy. The local unitary equivalence between obtained states and Bell is verified by computing polynomial invariants. Finally, we study effect spontaneous emission from state rubidium atoms on correlation dynamics show that oscillatory persists for high-lying states. Our may offer novel ways generate states, quantum gates exotic matter arrays through Landau Zener sweeps.

Entanglement creation in circuit QED via Landau–Zener sweeps
A qubit may undergo Landau–Zener transitions due to its coupling to one or several quantum harmonic oscillators. We show that for a qubit coupled to one oscillator, Landau–Zener transitions can be used for single-photon generation and for the controllable creation of qubit–oscillator entanglement, with state-of-the-art circuit QED as a promising realization. Moreover, for a qubit coupled to two...
متن کاملTeleportation via maximally and non-maximally entangled mixed states
We study the efficiency of two-qubit mixed entangled states as resources for quantum teleportation. We first consider two maximally entangled mixed states, viz., the Werner state[1], and a class of states introduced by Munro et al. [2]. We show that the Werner state when used as teleportation channel, gives rise to better average teleportation fidelity compared to the latter class of states for...
متن کاملGeneration of maximally entangled mixed states of two atoms via on-resonance asymmetric atom-cavity couplings
A scheme for generating the maximally entangled mixed state of two atoms on-resonance asymmetrically coupled to a single mode optical cavity field is presented. The part frontier of both maximally entangled mixed states and maximal Bell violating mixed states can be approximately reached by the evolving reduced density matrix of two atoms if the ratio of coupling strengths of two atoms is appro...
متن کاملLandau–Zener–Stückelberg interferometry
A transition between energy levels at an avoided crossing is known as a Landau–Zener transition. When a two-level system (TLS) is subject to periodic driving with sufficiently large amplitude, a sequence of transitions occurs. The phase accumulated between transitions (commonly known as the Stückelberg phase) may result in constructive or destructive interference. Accordingly, the physical obse...
متن کاملLandau-Zener sweeps and sudden quenches in coupled Bose-Hubbard chains.
We simulate numerically the dynamics of strongly correlated bosons in a two-leg ladder subject to a time-dependent energy bias between the two chains. When all atoms are initially in the leg with higher energy, we find a drastic reduction of the interchain particle transfer for slow linear sweeps, in quantitative agreement with recent experiments. This effect is preceded by a rapid broadening o...
